7 Courses to Living Fully

I put this up on the Survivor Manual and wanted to share it here too.

I’ve been asked many times how to live a joyful live, how to have self esteem and how in the world I’m so happy. Those are big questions and I think most everything boils down to what you’re saying to yourself in your head. But sometimes you just need a road map or some kind of guide to help you through the rough patches or just to give you a step by step process to follow.

When I was doing my cooking show I had a “7 Courses to Fullness” that replicated the 7 chakras. After the live event today, thought I’d share this.

  1. Have your daily In\Out – (Base or Root Chakra)
    • Eat well, feed your body well
    • Eliminate well. That means all toxins, including toxic people or environments
    • It is okay and necessary to eliminate, otherwise you’re full of ____
  2. Remember to PP – (Sacral Chakra)
    • Practice. Do something you love and practice it.
    • Have fun
    • Play. Have playtime.
    • Do something fun that brings you back to your center
  3. Parent Well - (Solar Plexus Chakra)
    • Take care of yourself and your children
    • Save Money
    • Parent yourself well
    • Be a good example to your children (even your inner child)
    • Make sure your children (including yourself) are fed, clothed, housed, protected and safe.
  4. Love Well – (Heart Chakra)
    • Love yourself well
    • Love others well
    • Learn about loving
  5. Watch Your Mouth – (Throat Chakra)
    • Watch what you’re saying in your head
    • Watch what you’re saying in moment of panic and/or anxiety
    • Be sure to be able to say that you love yourself
  6. Feed Your Brain – (Third Eye Chakra)
    • Learn new things
    • Learn new pathways to healing and freedom
  7. Stay Connected – (Crown Chakra)
    • Facebook is not the only place – but there’s a Survivor Manual fan page on FB!
    • Come out of hiding and share your Light
    • Connect to loved ones and liked-minded people
