The next feature film that I’m writing and directing is called Hawk Dances.

Hawk Dances is the true story about how one Native American man’s vision became an international movement to protect children – Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA).

Hawk Dances is the story of the spiritual quest of Chief, the founder of BACA, with the red tailed hawk as his Spirit guide. As a young boy he was abused by his dirty cop neighbor who had also stolen back patches of bikers with the RICO Act as his excuse. Beating a biker and taking his colors is much like a scalping but at 8-years-old, Chief didn’t know that.  He just wanted to get even with his abuser so he took the trophy back patches from the cop’s garage and returned them to the biker club they belonged to.

When the bikers saw this young boy had returned their colors, he was adopted and protected immediately.  Not only did he get a new family, his abuse ended for good.

Growing up with the duality of the Native American teachings and the biker code, Chief learned about brotherhood and family.  He left the hardcore bikers ways to become a child play therapist in order to help other abused kids.  When he saw how child after child was being abused, he wracked his brain about how to bring the strength of his culture together with the biker brotherhood to protect abused kids. Bikers Against Child Abuse was born.

This movie already has a following.  When it comes out it won’t just be a movie, this is going to be the best ride of your life. My vision is to bring together community events that educate, empower and entertain.  I have a dream where there are day and evening events with movie screenings, bike rallies, concerts and community outreach where local organizations meet each other, where parents and protectors learn how to keep kids safe and where we all have a fantastic time.

I see a world where the child rapist is no longer allowed to live.

Proceeds from the film are going towards not only creating Camp BACA but sustaining it for years to come.  Camp BACA exists with the intent to provide abused children and their families a respite and a healing reprieve from the ordeal of abuse. Camp BACA will provide a safe, tranquil environment in which children and their families can come to rest, recreate, and experience peace. Camp BACA will rejuvenate families by involving them in outdoor, supervised and professionally conducted activities, creating new memories for the families and providing them with opportunities to attach closer to one another.  Camp BACA will also insure that the parent(s) of the families are emotionally, financially, and strategically prepared to return to their homes. Camp BACA will work in conjunction with all BACA Chapters throughout the country and the world to bring needy and wounded families to a place of healing, peace, and protection.

It is time for communities to bond.  There is no community without unity and there is no unity without u.

For those who know me personally, you know I don’t mess around.  I work on projects that help uplift, educate and inspire people otherwise what’s the point of all the hard work?  This is my favorite project to date. Not only am I making the best possible film, my team and I are doing it in a rebel way outside of the old system.  We are raising money from sponsors and from gifts so that there is no debt.  Those who support this film are those who want child abuse to end.

You can gift the movie with love and money through the Hawk Dance’s paypal account. These are not tax write-offs, these are gifts and everyone contrinbuting will be put on the HawkDances.com website we are building.  If you have an organization or a website we will link to it there as well.  Please become a fan of our page too.  Thank you so much for your support and belief.

The National Family Court Watch donated $1000 to the movie because I touch upon the issues behind family court corruption in the film too.  Thank you for giving whatever you can towards this film being made and helping create the movement behind it.  You are the reason we are making this movie.  Together we can protect our children and make this world a safer place – while being a part of an amazing project that will uplift, educate and inspire.
