I started the Army of Angels (AOA) forum, website, concept, logo and group as a way for healthy warriors I knew to connect and meet each other. It is not a victim or a drama/trauma arena but since it is online, it does attract some of that. The core AOA are worldwide warriors who are my personal friends and help people escape darkness and find the light. While some people were spinning in drama, fear and assumptions last week, the real AOA were working to help a woman escape and setting up a network of various routes to awareness that we also share on The Survivor Manual. The whole point of all of my work in the trauma and recovery field has been to inspire and empower people to heal and lead joyful lives so that trauma is no longer in your vocabulary. Healing is an act of revolution and when you heal yourself, you inspire others and when you are healthy, you can help heal the whole world. Many are addicted to and stuck in pain and suffering but far more that I see are rising to new amazing heights of happiness and love. That’s what the conference is about and why I wanted the amazing people I know to be able to meet each other to bring our collective work to a new level.
Volunteers have no authority to cancel the Army of Angels or the Angela Shelton Foundation conference, to vote or to demand how anything is created or run. I was told years ago that if you have fans they will turn on you if you do anything that upsets the perception they have of you in their head, if you don’t do something they want you to do, or if they feel like you abandoned them. (Don’t put me on a pedestal! I have gas!) There has been a “financial crisis” with me personally after losing everything in my personal life due to helping others with theirs. But talk about losing everything to gain everything! All of this has been the biggest gift imaginable. I am elated and overjoyed by how life is in divine order and every moment is actually perfect timing. Through the help of my angel friends, I’ve seen how I’ve been a caretaker for so many to the detriment of myself and have now taken some huge steps to stop that pattern, take care of myself and get back to work doing what I love. Thank you!!
The foundation has money. We called to pay the conference bill in full and the YMCA didn’t even want it until after the conference was over. Hilarious how stress can blind you. The foundation did have missing paperwork, and I’m so grateful for those who pointed it out, especially after I moved three times and spoke to the IRS about it and thought the filing was all in order. Instead of just alerting me to that fact, I got lots of hate mail and loads of assumptions thrown at me. I spoke to the state and the IRS both and they laughed about how annoying all the paperwork is and it’s now all being worked out with ease and grace. There are many friends in the field who run huge non-profits who are in the core AOA who are on board to sponsor if there are any issues with donations while paperwork is processed. Now the conference has become what I always wanted it to be – a place where the warriors I know personally will meet each other. I can’t wait. For those who thought that I would intentionally miss or misfile paperwork, please defriend and unfollow me and don’t come to my show, for you have no idea how I have put my life and career on hold to help others. I will no longer board the trauma train to try to convince people to heal. You have to heal yourself. All the information and pathways are out there. I’ve helped to provide them and will probably do service work in this field until I’m 80. I’m making many great announcements at the conference about the future plans of all my creative projects and service work and how the core AOA may always call upon me.
In other news… much more comedy and fun is on the way! Thank you to those who are supportive and alive with joy. It’s not all about any one story in this world, everyone has a story. This is a collective consciousness and it’s your decision where you reside in the world and how quickly you transition into new levels of health and awareness.
