This year's gala was awesome. I was the MC, omg! Wendy Murphy won the Voice of Courage award due to her bold bravery while fighting in the trenches to protect children.
I love Darkness to Light so much that while I was in town I was trained as a facilitator in the Stewards of Children training to teach adults on how to recognize and react responsibly to child to sexual abuse. It is the way to end child sexual abuse and every community could use it!
And for those of you who need training to get education certificates in your social work etc, this 3 hour training can qualify. Yeehaw! That gives an even better reason to have me come to your community and stay an extra day. This training is awesome! I'll put up more info later, we are busy having an early Thanksgiving!
