Angela’s first produced film, Tumbleweeds, won the filmmaker’s trophy at the Sundance Film Festival and brought actress Janet McTeer an Academy Award nomination and a Golden Globe win.  The movie was based on Angela’s first book.

Angela made her directorial debut with the award winning documentary Searching for Angela Shelton.

The multi-award winning film Searching for Angela Shelton surprised her and the world when it put a spotlight on sexual abuse and domestic violence and started a grassroots movement of healing for abuse survivors worldwide.
