DAVID penny Films for Social Change
While at the Sundance Film Festival I met David Eberts, director of Where the Water Meets the Sky. My heart expanded three feet in front of me when I met him and found out what he was doing, had done and is commited to doing. It warms my heart each time I meet one of the amazing people on this planet doing amazing things. David Eberts is one of those people. I hope to know him for the rest of this lifetime.

He worked with Camfed, the organization committed to providing girls and women with the tools to tell their own stories, in their own voices. In their first documentary film, directed by David Eberts, Morgan Freeman narrates the story of a remarkable group of women in Northern Zambia as they learn the art of filmmaking and find the courage to change their lives.

Here is a list of where to see the film as well as where to sign up for more information.

Yippee! Yay! I’m sharing with them what I have learned along the way while sharing Searching for Angela Shelton via a grassroots movement. Hopefully you will be able to get the DVD of Where the Water Meets the Sky into your hands shortly.

Support the good people in your life. Feed and love them well.

    Angela-
I have followed your story from the first time I watch your empowering documentary. I too am a survivor of Sexual Abuse. I recently discovered 10 years after my abuse I had a cousin step forward but due to the Statue of Limitations she was unable to press charges. I pressed charges and he got 6 months on work release in the State of MI. I am looking for a group working on changing the laws on this and was searching for a Sexual Abuse Survivors March to attend to find others in our situation. You or you faithful readers please send me a MSG on my email or Facebook account Thank you for being who you are and sharing with the world.
