I'm Angela Shelton ~ Rebel with a Cause

This is my personal site where I share what I’ve learned as a rule-breaking entrepreneur to inspire and empower you to think outside the box and be the best you can be too.

The purpose of the Angela Shelton Foundation is to inspire and empower all survivors of abuse to heal and lead joyful lives.

The Foundation runs The Survivor Manual and provides assistance to worldwide organizations and projects in the arts and media that share our mission of inspiring, empowering and aiding all survivors of sexual abuse and domestic violence.

The Survivor Manual’s goal is to provide ANSWERS to the myriad of questions that survivors face as well as ideas, inspiration, information, resources, healing techniques, and recommended reading, watching and doing as well as ways to get involved, news to know, and ways to change the world. Contributions are from Angela Shelton personally, her fellow activists, heads of non-profits organizations, lawyers, professionals, healers, teachers, therapists, and survivor contributors that Angela knows and approves of.  We hope that survivors find the answers they need for whatever part of the path they are on.

Thank you for donating to the Angela Shelton Foundation. Your contributions allow us to film more for the Survivor Manual, keep the site going and continually add more information and content to provide answers for survivors and their loved ones.

The Angela Shelton Foundation was born out of the amazing response from the documentary Searching for Angela Shelton. With the intent of surveying women in America, Filmmaker Angela Shelton drove around the country and met other Angela Sheltons. She found that 70% of the 40 Angelas she spoke to had been victims of rape, childhood sexual abuse or domestic violence, herself included. Click here to buy the movie.

After receiving countless emails from survivors all over the world and speaking at organizations and universities in over twenty-seven states, Angela Shelton has met thousands of survivors who want to heal and don’t know how.  She created The Survivor Manual in order to share the many avenues of healing and pathways to joy that she has learned. She has donated the manual and all proceeds from it to the foundation so that the mission of the Foundation can flourish.

The Angela Shelton Foundation is a registered 501C3 non-profit organization; donations are tax-deductible.
