My beaver has a family – a big one.  I naively thought there was only one beaver down there but come to find out – there’s a lodge!

Here is their Beaver lodge!

My beaver chronicles started with I love my Beavers!, continued with More Beaver Action and now is all about Beaver Love at Beaver Pond!

Since we spotted one beaver moving into our stream after being chased off by traps up the road, we have found not one – but THREE – ponds. We’re calling it Beaver Land down there. We love the beaver and are enjoying (with tall slickers on) walking around the fortress they are continually building.

Of course who knows which one actually came first since we’ve only now discovered the other two after putting on rubbers and trudging into beaver territory. We haven’t been yelled at or had any tails smacked at us. In fact, we are largely ignored when we actually spot a beaver, but we love watching them do their thing.

I had to update you on a Day in the Life over here living up the hill from this new Beaver Paradise! Some people hate them and call them a nuisance, but we love our beavers!!
